So, Kotra thought that my Alcalde magazine cover and the opener is PERFECT to exhibit for the exhibition! It was my great honor to be invited with other amazing artists and companies.
Hope you enjoy the exhibition photos!
Last year, I was asked for doing a cover art for the NYT Travel section, but it was cancelled at the last minute because of the hurricane in the US… I was so sad, but have been waited for another assignment.
This year, AD Minh Uong asked me to draw one illustration for the workologist section, so here you can see the art! Link
How are you? Hope you’ve been well! I have a good news you might be surprised and excited!
Yesterday I went to Paju which is called ‘Book City’ in South Korea. The book city has tons of publishers, book makers, books and artists studios etc. so I thought it’s perfect for illustrators.
The reason I went there was I had a group show with incredible nine other Korean artists (They were all fine artists) in Makeshop Art Space in Paju.
Makeshop was looking for their fifth residency artists and they chose us as their top 10 applicants! so two piece of my illustrations that can be my favorite and five handmade books were there to be exhibited!
The show will be running until March 5th, 2016, so if you want to visit Korea for this, I’ll let you know my cousin’s guest house in Itaewon where you can stay while in Korea! ( But I know, you have no time to visit…but why not?)
Anyways, I’ll keep you updated what’s happening here.
I’ll be pretty busy for the next assignment for a while, but call me anytime! 😉
I love winter! but I love summer more maybe because it’s hot and I drew three big beach scenes so far for various clients! I’ve been wearing Ray Ban sunglasses all my life, and couldn’t enjoy more when I created this fun Justin + Erika project! Thanks to AD Bastien + Marjorie and Publicis Paris agency!
Ray Ban’s fabulous hub in Soho at 116 Wooster st. was finally opened in the middle of November 2015, so if you were in New York area, don’t miss to wander throughout Ray-Ban’s hub! ( and check out my work there too!)
